This course equips clinicians with the skills to perform comprehensive lymphedema assessments, accurately document findings, and align treatment plans with clinical and insurance standards. Participants will also gain practical knowledge of the Lymphedema Treatment Act (LTA) and its impact on patient care, garment prescription, and coverage for compression therapy.

Course Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Conduct a comprehensive patient assessment for lymphedema, including history, risk factors, limb volume, tissue quality, skin integrity, and functional status.
- Apply standardized tools and outcome measures to support accurate evaluation and monitoring of treatment progress.
- Demonstrate effective documentation practices that meet medical, legal, and insurance requirements, ensuring compliance with standards of care.
- Identify key elements of the Lymphedema Treatment Act (LTA) and explain its implications for patient access, garment coverage, and clinical practice.
- Integrate assessment findings and documentation strategies into individualized treatment plans, supporting interdisciplinary collaboration and continuity of care.
- Utilize case scenarios to strengthen clinical reasoning in aligning assessment, documentation, and reimbursement considerations with patient-centered goals.

Payment Policy – A deposit equal to 25% of the total course tuition is required at the time of registration. – The remaining 75% must be paid no later than 14 calendar days prior to the course start date. – Failure to pay the full balance by this deadline will result in forfeiture of your seat and loss of your deposit. – If registering within 14 days of the course start date, 100% of the tuition is due at the time of registration.
